More Updates

News:
Not really back that I know of yet, but I'm going to try and work on a bunch of short stories. See if I can actually get any of them published. We'll see what happens, and if anything gets published I'll be sure to mention it here.

Enter Fetus:
Probably won't ever get it finished. At least not until I'm more comfortable writing longer pieces.

One Shot:
No longer drawing board, but turned it into a short story. It's currently a rough draft. (Removed, going to try and get it published after revisions. I'll let you know.)

#ProseShare Information

Sun Aug 28, 2005, 9:31 AM
ProseShare

General:
I decided that the ThumbShare area wasn't enough. It's more based towards sharing 'thumbs', as the name implies. That's not very productive for most of us prose writers, (and there are a few of us), so I decided to make the #ProseShare channel on dAmn. Basically, as I'm sure you've figured out, it is a place to join and post links to your prose pieces in the hopes that other people will read them. I, for one, will try to idle there as much as possible and read as many of the prose pieces that get posted in there as I can. Also, unlike #ThumbShare, I encourage the use of the channel for chatting about prose as well. So don't feel like you have to just join and link to your stuff. Join, link your stuff, stay to chat to other people about it, and perhaps go and comment on other pieces of prose that happen to catch your fancy.

Channel Rules
The usual, no spamming, no flaming.
No discussion of illegal activities, (drugs, warez, etc).
No linking to anything regarding the abovementioned illegal activities.
Constructive criticism is allowed, but make sure it doesn't turn into flaming.
Only link to one piece per line, and when you do so, say something about it.

And that's it. The channel is going to be fairly leniently run, but don't be surprised if you break a rule and find yourself banned for a little while. (Maybe permanently.)

Have fun, and remember guys, it will only work if you idle and check it from time to time.

New Updates

News:
So yeah, all that's new is that I'm getting close to finishing up stuff at college. But other than that, nothing much else. Thought of something to write as a novel, and I'll keep updates in that section about it. I've also removed everything but links to lost and forgotten, no more information about it.

Enter Fetus (current project):
Something new that I've been cooking up. All the explanations and things about it are actually on the deviation. It's only the first chapter, but that's all I'm going to post here as I kind of want it to get published. I'm not done yet, of course, but I'll let you guys know how things work out when I do finish it. Publication-wise that is. Doubtful, yes, for content reasons. I look at it sometimes and wonder to myself, "Who would read this other than myself?" But then again, I always write things for myself anyway, so what do I care?

P.S. Nah, I'm not going to beg for a subscription anymore. It's nice, but I don't think I use DA enough to really need one. Thanks for whoever did give me that one for a week though, I did a lot of browsing then, didn't want to waste that.
